Head back to Ess-a-Bagel for a proper sit-down breakfast if you want more food, or simply enjoy your coffee while walking back through the quiet morning streets.
Local tip
The UN Visitor's Lobby is free but requires a security checkpoint. Bring a valid ID. The lobby opens at 9AM on weekdays, but for this early morning plan, you are waiting outside or in the designated visitor area before the formal tour hours begin. If you want to be inside the lobby building itself, you must arrive after 09:00, but that misses the sunrise. The best view is from the exterior plaza or the lobby windows if you can get in early. Check the specific opening hours for the lobby on your day of visit as they can change.
