Start at Mengbana Xizhenqi Garden. It is a quick five-minute walk from the base of the mountain. Use this time to stretch your legs and get your bearings in the eco-park before the climb.

Head up to the Menghuan Great Golden Pagoda. The walk from the garden takes about five minutes. Arrive with ten minutes to spare to find a good spot on the viewing platform or near the main hall entrance.

Watch the sun set toward the west. The pagoda’s height offers an unobstructed view of the sky turning gold and orange. The structure is open until 22:00, so you have plenty of time to linger as the light fades.
Local tip
The pagoda entry fee is ¥50. Since there are no food or drink shops listed nearby, bring water and snacks with you from the garden or your starting point.
