Timeline
14:40
Start with a coffee or a pint at Bee Orchid Pomona. It is just a short walk from the stadium area and opens early enough to get settled before the rush.
15:40
Walk to St. John's Gardens. The park is a beautiful former church site. Arrive about an hour before sunset to find a good spot among the flowers and watch the birds.
16:20
Watch the sun set toward the SW. The golden light hits the park around 15:18, turning the space warm and quiet as the day ends.
17:00
End the evening at Society. It is a short walk away and perfect for a post-sunset drink. The cocktail and wine bar stays open late, and you can grab craft beer or coffee.
Local tip
St. John's Gardens is central and beautiful in summer, but in winter the bare trees make the sunset views even more dramatic. Check the route from Bee Orchid Pomona to the park if you are not familiar with the area.
