Timeline
15:35
Grab a coffee or a warm drink from a local shop on your way to the park. The late afternoon chill sets in quickly in January, so start with something hot to keep your hands warm while you walk.
16:05
Find a spot on the large grass areas facing southwest. The play area is small, so move slightly away from the equipment to get an unobstructed view of the sky. The sun is setting toward the SW, offering a clear line of sight.
16:20
Watch the sunset. At 16:20, the sky will shift through the golden hour colors before the sun dips below the horizon. Stay for a few minutes as the light fades and the park settles into evening quiet.
16:50
Take a slow walk around the perimeter of the park as it gets darker. The large grass areas are still visible under the streetlights, and it is a peaceful way to end the outing before heading home.
Local tip
Check the route for the nearest bus or tram if you are not driving, as parking near the play area is limited.
