Walk from the mall to Magic Island. This is your viewing spot. On the dates between 26 March and 1 April, or 11 September and 17 September, the sun sets directly behind Bahrain Fort from here. The fort is about 1.8 km away, so the alignment is clear.

Watch the sunset. The light fades quickly after the sun dips behind the fort.

End your evening at Blu Club Lounge. It is a 14-minute walk from Magic Island and stays open until 03:00, giving you plenty of time to relax after the sun has set.
Local tip
The alignment dates are specific. If you are visiting outside the March-April or September-October windows, the sun will not line up perfectly behind the fort from this angle. Check the route to Magic Island if you are not staying nearby.
