Timeline

Pick up a pastry and coffee from Hollandia. This is Malmö’s oldest patisserie, so the quality is high and the atmosphere is classic. It opens at 09:00 on weekends, which is well before you need it.
14:37
Walk into Folkets Park. The park is open 24/7 and free. Find a spot on the grass or a bench near the terrarium. The park is large, so take your time settling in.
16:07
Move to the Boulebar area. It is just a short 3-minute walk from the main park entrance. This is the best vantage point to watch the sun set toward the SW. The bar is open late, so it will be active and easy to spot.
16:52
Head to Två Krögare - Bullen for dinner. It is located near the Boulebar (15-minute walk) and serves traditional Swedish husmanskost. It is open until 01:00 on weekdays and 23:00 on Sundays, so it will be open after sunset.
Local tip
The sunset is toward the SW. If you want the best view, stand near the Boulebar as the light fades. The park is free, but the bar and restaurant have their own prices.
