Best time: 18:36About 120 min

Timeline

  1. 17:51

    Eneko Island

Arrive on Eneko Island. Since there are no shops or restaurants on the atoll itself, use this time to get settled at your cottage or campsite. Arrange your boat trip back through the Hotel Robert Reimers in advance, as day trips and overnight stays require prior booking.

  2. 18:36

    Eneko Island

Find a spot on the beach or near your accommodation facing west. The sun sets toward the WSW, offering a clear view of the day ending over the water. This is the quietest part of the visit, away from the bustle of Uliga.

  3. 19:06

    Eneko Island

Stay for a while as the light fades. Enjoy the stillness of the atoll after dark. There are no dining options here, so this is purely for relaxation and stargazing.

  4. 19:36

    Eneko Island

Head back to the mainland. Remember that your return boat arrangement must have been coordinated through the Hotel Robert Reimers. Once back in Uliga, check the route for local transport to find a place for dinner and a drink.

Local tip

Overnight stays and camping on Eneko Island are small-scale and require arrangement through the Hotel Robert Reimers. Do not show up without booking.

Check before you go

  • Book your boat trip and accommodation (cottage or camping) through Hotel Robert Reimers before you go.
  • Confirm the return boat schedule with your host or the hotel.
  • Bring your own food and water if you plan to stay overnight, as there are no shops on the island.
