Walk to the Museo Lázaro Galdiano. Spend an hour exploring José Lázaro Galdiano’s lavish former residence and its stunning private collection of Goya, Velázquez, and El Greco.

Head to the Fundación Juan March to catch the sunset. The foundation is located SSE of the museum, making it a natural next stop. Watch the sun set toward the WSW from the area around the foundation.

End the evening with tapas at Estay Restaurante. It is very crowded on Friday and Saturday nights, so if you are visiting on a weekend, go early or be prepared to wait. The solomillo al foie and desserts are excellent.
Local tip
The museum is free on Tuesdays to Saturdays from 15:30 to 16:30. If you time your visit right, you can see the collection and then head out for the sunset without paying the full entry fee.
