Timeline

    La Mallorquina

Start with a café con leche and a chocolate croissant in the peaceful upstairs room. It is quiet here and perfect for settling in before the evening rush.

  2. 16:57

    Monasterio de las Descalzas Reales

Walk five minutes to the Monasterio de las Descalzas Reales. Enter the cloisters to see the light filtering through the grilles. Check the opening hours to ensure you are in before the midday closure or during the afternoon slot.

  3. 18:00

    Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza

Move to the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza. Walk 16 minutes ESE from the monastery. Stand in the galleries facing west. As the sun dips, the golden light hits the building’s façade and the artworks inside take on a warm glow.

  4. 18:57

    Chocolatería San Ginés

End the evening with hot chocolate and churros at Chocolatería San Ginés. It is open 24/7, making it the ideal late-night stop after the sunset view.
