Timeline
14:02
Walk along the golden sand of Cheoc Van Beach. The water is calm in the cove, and you might see the Winter Swimmers Association members taking their daily dip, regardless of the chill.
16:32
Sit by the curved swimming pool area or on the sand for a quiet break. This is the time to relax and watch the bay before the afternoon crowds arrive.
18:02
Head to the water’s edge to watch the sunset. The sun sets toward the WSW, casting long shadows across the beach and turning the water gold.
Local tip
Cheoc Van is the smaller, more beautiful of Macau’s two main beaches. It is more inviting for sunbathing than Hac Sa Beach. Check the route back to transport as there are no specific walking directions provided from the beach to other hubs.
