    Ufufu Macau

    Grab a coffee and settle in at Ufufu Macau. It is open late, so you have plenty of time to enjoy a quiet drink before the walk begins.

    Chapel of Our Lady of Penha and Penha Hill

    Walk up to the Chapel of Our Lady of Penha and Penha Hill. The steep climb gets your blood moving. From the lookouts here, you will see the central area of Macau and Nam Van Lake stretching out below.

    Chapel of Our Lady of Penha and Penha Hill

    Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The hill provides an elevated vantage point, letting you see the golden light fade across the city and water.

    Lilau Square

    Descend to Lilau Square. This pretty little square is surrounded by old Mediterranean-style houses. It is a calm place to end the evening, reflecting on the view from above.

Local tip

Penha Hill is steep. Wear comfortable shoes. The chapel and lookouts are free to access.
