    Have lunch at Porto Exterior. The bustling, unpretentious spot serves reasonably authentic Portuguese and Macanese fare. Try the arroz de cabidela and wash it down with a glass of house wine.

    Macau Tower

    Walk 37 minutes SW to the Macau Tower. Head straight to the viewing platform outside for the best vantage point.

    Macau Tower

    Watch the sun sink toward the WSW. The view stretches over Macau and Taipa as the sky turns golden.

Local tip

Porto Exterior is open until 24:00, so you have plenty of time to settle in before the walk up.
