Timeline

    Paddy's Corner

Grab a coffee at Paddy's Corner. This is a perfect little pub off the beaten track in the heart of Croix-Rousse, giving you a relaxed start to the afternoon.

  2. 15:10

    Mur des Canuts

Walk 14 minutes NNW to the Mur des Canuts. This painted wall is dedicated to the history and typical architecture of the Croix-Rousse hill, offering a colorful glimpse into the area's silk-weaving past.

  3. 15:40

    Nardone

Head back down towards the center for ice cream at Nardone. The terrace is pleasant, but be prepared to queue on sunny weekends. The original flavors are worth the wait.

Local tip

Nardone gets completely overcrowded on sunny weekends, so arrive early or expect a line. Paddy's Corner is a great spot for live music sessions every Thursday if you want to extend the evening.
