Start at the Fresque Charlie Chaplin. This 25-meter mural is split into two parts: one on the exterior walls showing silhouettes walking, and another inside featuring a painting of The Kid. It is a striking introduction to Lyon’s cinematic history.

Walk nine minutes to Park. This regional restaurant is open for lunch from 10:00 to 22:00 on weekdays. It is a convenient spot to grab a bite or a coffee while the city is still buzzing with afternoon energy.

Palais Saint-Pierre / Musée des Beaux Arts
Head to the Palais Saint-Pierre / Musée des Beaux Arts. Located in the ancient Abbey of Saint-Pierre-les-Nonnains, this site offers a quiet contrast to the street art. The walk from the previous stop is about seven minutes if you are near the République area, or you can take a short break here before moving on.
14:30
Treat yourself to ice cream at Nardone. The terrace is pleasant, and the flavors are original. Be aware that it gets completely overcrowded on sunny weekends, so expect a queue, but it is worth the wait for ice cream fans.
15:00
End the evening at Hot Club de Lyon. This jazz club has been operating since 1948 in an old typical cellar. If you are visiting between Tuesday and Thursday, live jazz starts at 21:30. On Friday and Saturday, it begins at 22:00. It is a perfect way to soak in the local music scene.
