    Fondation Bullukian

Start at the Fondation Bullukian. As a space dedicated to contemporary creation and emerging forms, it offers a quiet, immersive start to your visit. The museum is open until 19:00, so you have plenty of time to wander through the 1500 m² of galleries at your own pace.

    Boulangerie du Palais

Walk 11 minutes to Boulangerie du Palais. Pick up a praline tart, a popular local dessert, to enjoy as you head toward the view. The bakery is open until 19:00, perfect for a late afternoon treat.

    Esplanade de Fourvière

Head to the Esplanade de Fourvière. It is a 15-minute walk from the bakery. This panoramic viewpoint next to the basilica offers the best view over the city. On a clear day, you can see Mont Blanc in the distance. This is the ideal spot to eat your tart while the golden light bathes the city.

    Le Layon

End your evening with dinner at Le Layon. Located an 11-minute walk from the esplanade, this restaurant serves very good, classical local and French cuisine. Try the grenouilles (frogs) and enjoy the nice terrace with a good wine list. It serves all day until 00:00 on weekends.

Local tip
