Walk up to the top of the Big Hill. The 27-minute climb gets you above the town noise. Position yourself facing WSW to catch the final moments of daylight over the Sagond Channel.

Watch the sunset. The sun sets toward the WSW at 17:35, painting the sky in warm tones over Aore Island.

Walk down to Nemo Restaurant. It is a short 15-minute walk from the hill. As the French-run spot is described as probably the best in town, it is the ideal place to settle in for dinner as the evening sets in.

Finish the night with a drink at Hotel Santo. This is a 6-minute walk from Nemo. The bar here has friendly staff and offers a great atmosphere after dinner. Note that you may need to arrange the pizza dinner a day ahead if you choose to eat there instead.
Local tip
The Big Hill walk is 27 minutes each way. Wear sturdy shoes. The sunset direction shifts slightly throughout the year, but WSW is accurate for mid-July.
