Arrive at the Kuang Si Falls entrance as it opens at 08:00. This is the quietest time to enter before the tour buses arrive. The entrance fee is 60,000 kip for foreigners. Take the free electric golf carts from the parking area to the lower falls to start your walk early.

Walk up to the Kuang Si Butterfly Park. Located just a short walk from the main falls entrance, this spot offers a peaceful break among the butterflies. It is a gentle detour from the main waterfall circuit.
10:30
Return to the main falls area for lunch or a snack. There are food stalls and restaurants near the entrance and along the path. Enjoy the view of the turquoise water while you eat. Check the route for any specific shuttle options if you need to move between areas.
Local tip
The falls can turn brown after heavy rains, so check the weather if possible. Wear sturdy shoes for the walk between the lower and upper falls.
