Timeline

  1. 15:20

    Gay's the Word

Browse the shelves at Gay's the Word, a bookshop with a deep history in LGBT rights and activism. Pick up a small treat or just enjoy the atmosphere before the light changes.

  2. 15:50

    British Museum

Walk north to the British Museum. Find a seat in the Great Court or along the outer colonnade. The setting sun casts a warm, golden glow on the stone architecture as it dips toward the southwest.

  3. 16:35

    The Lamb

Head south to The Lamb, a beautifully preserved Victorian pub. It is the perfect spot to settle in after the cold air, enjoying classic ales and the local crowd.

Local tip

The Rocket is only a five-minute walk from the museum if you prefer a quieter, Grade II listed pub near Euston Road instead.
