Grab a beer at Union Pub. It is just a short walk from the park entrance and opens at noon, so it is ready for you.

Walk through Park Tivoli. The path is pleasant and leads directly from the pub area toward the museum. Use this time to find a quiet bench or spot under the trees as the golden light begins to spill over the leaves.

National Museum of Contemporary History
Stand in the open areas of the National Museum of Contemporary History grounds. The building faces west, giving you a clear view of the sun dipping below the horizon toward the WSW as it happens.

End the evening with a hearty meal at Figovec. This regional restaurant serves pony steaks and horse goulash, and it stays open until 23:00, giving you plenty of time to digest the day.
Local tip
Park Tivoli is large. If you want to keep the walk short, head straight for the museum side of the park rather than wandering too deep into the west sections.
