    Figovec

Grab a bite at Figovec. This popular regional restaurant serves pony steaks, horse goulash, and traditional Slovenian food. It is open daily from 11:00 to 23:00, so it is ready for you well before the evening rush.

    Kinoteka

Walk to Kinoteka, Ljubljana's film museum. Enter for one of the daily screenings. Movies range from classics to cult films, all in their original audio language with Slovenian subtitles. The ticket is €3. Note that the museum is closed on Sundays and in July and August, so check the schedule if you are visiting then.

  3. 16:42

    Park Tivoli

Head to Park Tivoli to watch the sun go down. This is the largest park in Ljubljana and offers a spacious, western-facing view perfect for the sunset. The walk from Kinoteka takes about 15 minutes.

  4. 17:12

    Šestica

End the evening with a hearty meal at Šestica. This regional restaurant serves sausages, horse fillets, steak, pasta, and risotto. It is open Mo-Fr until 23:00 and Sa 12:00-23:00, making it a solid choice for a late dinner after the sunset.

Local tip

The walk between Kinoteka and Park Tivoli is short and straightforward. If you prefer a drink over a full meal after the sunset, Sir William's pub is nearby and open late, but Šestica provides a more substantial finish to the evening.
