Walk to the viewing platform just north of Listvyanka to see Shaman's stone. This rock tip in the middle of the Angara is best viewed from this spot. As the sun begins its descent toward the SW, the water will start to shimmer with the first hints of golden light.

Watch the sunset. At 17:18, the sun sets toward the SW, casting long shadows and painting the sky in warm tones over the rising waters of the Irkutsk reservoir. This is the moment the landscape feels most alive.

The sun sets toward the SW in January, so position yourself on the platform facing that direction for the best view. Check the route if you need to navigate from the café to the viewing platform.
