Timeline
10:00
Start with coffee and a light bite at Kafejnīca Viesis. It opens at 10:00 on weekdays, making it the perfect quiet spot to begin your morning before the town gets busy. If you are visiting on a weekend, this place opens at 12:00, so adjust your start time accordingly.
10:20
Walk from the town center to Lake Lielezers. Take the nature path along the shore. The lake is south of the town center, and you will pass the bird-watching tower. On a clear day, you might see rowers training at the Olympic center.
11:00
Head back toward the town center to Maxima. This is the only supermarket in central Limbaži and a reliable place to grab a snack or water if you need it. It is open from 08:00 to 22:00.
11:30
End your walk at Klubs Tonuss. During the day, it operates as a restaurant, offering a calm place to sit and reflect on your walk before it transforms into a nightclub on weekend nights. It is open from 11:00 to 22:00 on weekdays.
Local tip
The walk between the lake and the town center is short. Keep your route focused on the NNE direction from the lake to reach the central square area where the shops and restaurants are located.
