Enter Lashihai Lake Wetland Park as it opens. The park is open from 08:00 to 17:00. This is the best time to walk the trails before the midday heat and larger tour groups arrive.
09:00
Walk eight minutes from the park entrance toward the viewing spot. This area offers a clear view of the wetlands and is ideal for bird-watching during the winter months when migratory birds flock here.
10:00
Return to the main park area for a quiet break. You can rent a horse to ride around the lake if you wish, but note that boating activities have been banned since October 2018.
Local tip
The park is located on the south side of Lashihai Lake. You can take bus no. 31 or 32 from the Zhongyi Market bus stop on Changshui Road on the southwest side of the old town to get there.
