Timeline

  1. 08:15

    Seaside Park

Walk through Seaside Park in the quiet morning air. The park is in the center of the city beside the beach, offering a peaceful start with views of the water as the sun begins to rise.

  2. 08:40

    Amber clock

Head to the promenade to see the Amber clock. This sundial-shaped design object is made from thousands of pieces of amber and marks the time. The morning light hits the amber pieces beautifully at this hour.

Be at the beach edge of Seaside Park for the sunrise itself. The sun sets toward the SW, but in winter, the early morning light offers a soft glow over the horizon from this central vantage point.

    Restaurant Piano

Walk to Restaurant Piano for breakfast. It is just a minute's walk from the Amber clock area. Open from 07:00 on weekdays and 08:00 on weekends, it is a reliable spot for a warm meal after the cold morning air.
