Arrive at Wolong Pool as it opens at 7:00. This is the quietest time to walk through the grounds and enjoy the manmade waterfall and deep-blue water without competition for the best photo spots.

Stay and explore the perimeter of the pool. The clear water reflects the surrounding karst mountains beautifully in the morning sun. Use this time to relax and take in the scenery before the midday heat and larger crowds arrive.

Head to the exit or nearby area for lunch. Since there are no specific food shops listed inside the immediate viewing area, use this time to find a local eatery outside the scenic pass boundary. The park is closed at 18:00, so you have plenty of time.
