Golden Hour at the High Roller

Skip the crowded sign for a view that actually frames the Strip. Start at the High Roller as the sun dips, then head north for dinner and a drink under the lights.

Timeline

  1. 18:44

    Forum Shops

Grab a souvenir at the Forum Shops. The animatronics shows at the Fountain of the Gods and Atlantis are free and provide a quick, air-conditioned pause before the evening heat fades.

  2. 19:04

    High Roller

Board the High Roller. A full rotation takes 30 to 45 minutes in an enclosed cabin, giving you the best seat in the house for the sunset toward the WNW. Arrive ten minutes early to secure your spot.

  3. 19:54

    Hash House A Go Go

Walk to Hash House A Go Go for dinner. The American food comes in enormous servings that two or three people can easily share, making it a practical stop after the ride.

  4. 20:44

    Omnia

End the night at Omnia. As one of the most recognizable clubs on the Strip, it is an EDM center. Note that it rarely offers an open bar, with drinks costing $20-30 each. It opens Tue Thu-Sun at 10:30PM.

Local tip

The High Roller is the only viewing spot within walking distance of the anchor that offers a sunset view. The sign itself is too crowded for a relaxed evening photo op.
