Timeline

  1. 20:05

    Bar San Remo

Start with a beer or cocktail at Bar San Remo. It is a cozy spot with indoor and outdoor seating, just a short walk from the museum. At 40 minutes before sunset, the light is still bright enough to enjoy the patio without the evening heat.

  2. 20:15

    Playa de Las Canteras

Walk 10 minutes west to Playa de Las Canteras. This is the city’s main beach, nearly 4 km long. Arrive with time to spare to find a comfortable spot on the golden sand in the northern section.

  3. 21:00

    Playa de Las Canteras

Watch the sun sink toward the WSW. The sky will turn vibrant as the day ends over the water.

  4. 21:30

    Bar San Remo

Head back to Bar San Remo for the afterglow. It is only a 4-minute walk from the beach. The atmosphere shifts as the sun goes down, and the outdoor seating remains pleasant.

Local tip

Check the route from the museum to the beach if you are starting your day there. The walk is short and straightforward.
