Walk up La Tuque Hill. It is a 32-minute walk from the Centre Municipal de Ski La Tuque in the NW direction. Arrive with enough time to find a good spot on the summit as the sky begins to lighten.

Watch the sunrise. On 15 January the sun rises at 07:34, casting golden light by 15:37. The sun sets toward the WSW, but the morning light offers a clear view over the city as it wakes up.

Head to Café Kapi for breakfast. It is a 9-minute walk from the landmark area. Open from 09:00 on Saturdays, it is the perfect spot to grab a coffee and a bite once the early start is over.
Local tip
The walk up La Tuque Hill takes about 32 minutes from the Centre Municipal de Ski. Wear warm layers in January as it gets cold early in the morning.

- Café Kapi is open Mo-Fr 06:00-16:30 and Sa 09:00-16:30. If you are visiting on a weekday, you can go earlier, but on Saturday you must wait until 09:00.
