Walk 16 minutes to Fuka. This old bakery is famous for its nama-fu manju, wheat gluten filled with sweet bean paste. It supplies many other sweet shops in the city, so getting them here means you are getting the authentic source. Check that you are there before they sell out, as supplies can be limited.

Head 6 minutes away to Tengu for a light lunch or drink. As a chain izakaya, it offers a reliable spot for shared food and their own beer, providing a comfortable place to rest after your walk and pastry break.
