Walk seven minutes to Shiping Huiguan. Dine in a traditional Yunnanese restaurant housed in an old courtyard. The building is a visit in itself. Try the river shrimps or the plate of various fried insects if you are curious.

Stroll nine minutes to Salvador's Coffee House. Stay for a drink and enjoy the international atmosphere as the night settles over Kunming.
Local tip
The park is open all night, but the restaurants close earlier. Shiping Huiguan has no listed hours, so arrive by 19:00 to be sure. Salvador's Coffee House stays open until 23:00.
