Walk to Green Lake Park. It is a pleasant, smallish expanse of park and lake that serves as a mellow hang-out. Musicians sometimes practice along the paths. Find a spot facing west.

Watch the sunset. The sun sets toward the WSW, casting golden light over the lake and lotus plants.

End the night at 素吉祥. This is a Chinese restaurant that serves dinner from 17:30 to 19:30. It is a quiet place to wind down after the crowds have left the park.
Local tip
The museum is closed after 16:00 so focus on the park and food. Shiping Huiguan is a 7-minute walk from the park, while 素吉祥 is a 9-minute walk.
Check before you go
- Shiping Huiguan has no listed hours, so arrive early to secure a table.
- 素吉祥 is only open for dinner from 17:30 to 19:30. If you arrive later, try Salvador's Coffee House (open until 23:00) or Xiao Cang (open until 23:00) which are also close by.
