Walk straight into the Yunnan Nationalities Museum. With a building area of 130,000 square metres, it is a comprehensive ethnology museum. Arriving right at opening time lets you explore the exhibits in peace before the day gets busy.

Continue your visit. The museum is located on the east bank of Dian Lake, next to the Yunnan Ethnic Village. You can take your time looking at the displays covering the diverse cultures of Yunnan.

Head out. The museum closes at 16:30, so you have plenty of time. Check the route for bus 24, 44, 73, 94, 135, 165, 184, 233, a1, or a9 to get back to the nearest stop, Yunnan Nationalities Village.
