Pick up a coffee or snack inside the park. The zoo is open in July, and this gives you time to grab a bite before the light fades.

Walk to the edge of Badelandet Aqua Park. It is a short seven-minute walk from the main zoo area. Find a spot near the water slides or the wave pool area where you can see the western horizon.

Watch the sun set toward the NW. The golden light fades into the twilight as the day ends in mid-summer.

Head back into the zoo for the evening atmosphere. In summer, keep an eye out for the late-night pirate shows featuring Kaptein Sabeltann.

The zoo tickets cover all activities once inside, so you can stay as long as you like. Check the daily schedule for show times.
