Timeline
12:00
Start at Stylowa, the first restaurant in Nowa Huta, which opened in 1956. The interior was lightly remodeled in the 2000s but retains its mid-century character. Order a main course for around 30 zł to get your energy up.
12:45
Walk 15 minutes to Tomex, the biggest bazaar in Kraków located next to the Kocmyrzowskie roundabout. It is open daily from 08:00 to 18:00. Browse the stalls for cheap clothes, electronics, and food. This is the perfect spot to pick up a snack or local treat while the market is fully active.
13:30
Head to Kino Sfinks, one of Kraków's smaller, forgotten cinemas. Unlike multiplexes, films usually arrive here a month after their premiere, offering a distinct, non-commercial movie experience. Check the schedule for an afternoon showing or simply appreciate the vintage atmosphere.
Local tip
Stylowa has been serving the community since 1956, making it a living piece of Nowa Huta's history. Tomex is open until 18:00, so plan your bazaar visit to finish before then if you want to catch the last hours of the market.
Check before you go
