    Colruyt

Pick up snacks or a picnic basket at Colruyt. It is just a short walk from the tram track and opens early enough to stop here before the evening rush. The discount supermarket offers a great selection of branded foods if you want to keep costs low.

  2. 16:34

    Old Tram Track

Walk along the Old Tram Track. This historic trajectory turns into a long, stretched park connecting Kraainem to Oudergem. It is a favorite bicycle highway for students, but it remains a beautiful, open space to walk as the golden light begins to fade around 16:09.

  3. 17:04

    Old Tram Track

Watch the sunset. The sun sets toward the WSW. The track is open 24/7, but note that lighting turns off after 23:00, so you will be walking in the dark shortly after this moment.

  4. 17:49

    The New Inn

Head to The New Inn for a drink. This small bar is located in the historic centre of High Kraainem, just a few minutes from the park area. It sits in front of the town hall and next to the road leading to Saint Pancras Church. The terrace offers a beautiful view over the old town and the church, providing a perfect spot to wind down after dark.

Local tip

The Old Tram Track lighting turns off after 23:00. Plan your walk so you are not relying on streetlights for safety late at night. The New Inn is open until 24:00 on weekends, making it a reliable end point.
