Timeline
12:10
Tour the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum before the crowds arrive. Write your name on the provided paper, watch the English videos explaining the brewing process, and sample the fresh, non-pasteurized sake at the end.
14:10
Grab a coffee or light lunch at LOHAS café KOBE. It is located near the river mouth, making it a convenient stop before the long walk west.
16:10
Walk from the café to Seigokawa Estuary Park. This is your viewing spot for the sunset. The park is positioned WSW, aligning perfectly with the sun’s path on this date.
17:50
After the sun sets, head to the JICA Kansai Cafeteria for a late dinner. It stays open until 21:00, giving you plenty of time to eat after the light fades.
Local tip
The walk from the brewery to the park is long (over an hour). Use the café as a midpoint break. The sunset direction is WSW, so position yourself facing that way at Seigokawa Estuary Park for the best view.
