Grab a local Faroese beer and a bite to eat at Roykstovan. This small, lively pub is tucked away, so look for the white "Roykstovan" text on the exterior. It is an excellent spot to warm up and get a feel for the local scene before heading out.

Walk down to Dragin, the historic boat in the harbor. This is the departure point for boat tours, but even if you are not booking a ride, this is the perfect vantage point to watch the sun set toward the WNW. The harbor offers a clear view of the evening light fading over the water.

Head to Fish & Chips Nóa for dinner. The portion sizes are generous, so the small fish and chips are enough to feed a hungry customer. The fish is crispy and not too oily. If you prefer something else, they also serve burgers and ice cream.
Local tip
The sun sets toward the WNW on this date, so position yourself at Dragin facing that direction for the best view. Roykstovan is easy to miss, so keep an eye out for the sign.
