Walk 8 minutes to Ye Olde White Harte. This historic pub is one of the many delightful old town inns. The upstairs 'plotting parlor' is where Sir John Hotham and city elders met in 1642. It is a good spot to warm up with a drink inside.

Head to Pearson Park, Hull’s first public park. Tree planting began here in 1860. It was originally opened as the Peoples Park and later named after Zachariah Pearson, a ship owner and former Mayor. It is a large, quiet space to walk and reflect.
