Timeline
12:00
Take a boat from Port Royal to Lime Cay. Since the island is deserted on weekdays, this is the perfect time to secure a quiet spot on the beach before the weekend parties begin.
12:30
Find a shady spot on the sand. The island is much more sedate on weekdays, giving you the whole beach to yourself.
13:00
Grab a drink or snack from the vendors on the island. Food and drink are available for purchase right there on the beach.
14:00
Relax and soak in the atmosphere. This is the famous final scene location from The Harder They Come, but without the crowds.
15:00
Arrange your next-day pickup time if you plan to camp overnight. Be careful, as you cannot swim to shore, so plan your departure with the boatman in advance.
Local tip
The island is a crowded party spot on weekends, but on weekdays it is often deserted. If you want peace and quiet, go during the week.
