    Frontenac County Schools Museum

Stand outside the museum or look out from the grounds as the sun sets toward the WSW. The golden light hits the historic buildings and the sky turns a deep orange.

Local tip

The museum is open until 3 PM in summer, but check the route for winter hours. If you arrive late, the exterior is still worth seeing for the light. Pat's Restaurant is nearby if you want a meal before the walk, but The Mansion is closer for a quick stop.

Check before you go

  • Museum hours vary by season. Summer is Tue-Sat 10AM-3PM. Off-season hours are reduced, so verify opening times before you go.
