Grab a small burger and a drink at Big Star. This historic drive-in has been open since 1954. The portions are small, so you can enjoy a quick bite without getting too full before the main event. Note that this spot is only open from March 1st to Labor Day, so verify it is open if you are visiting in winter.

Walk to the Anderson Arts Center. Arrive with fifteen minutes to spare to find a good spot on the grounds. The building, finished in 1931, features striking French Renaissance Revival architecture that catches the light beautifully as the sun begins to dip.

Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The golden light starting at 15:59 will wash over the museum and the surrounding grounds. This is the perfect moment to appreciate the local and regional art on display inside or simply enjoy the exterior architecture against the twilight sky.
