Stand at Heaven Himalaya as the sun sets toward the WSW. The golden light starts about 16:56, casting a warm glow over the travel company's entrance and the surrounding Thamel district.

Walk around the chicane and turn right to find Rum Doodle. Enjoy excellent food at modest prices, and if you are there on most nights, you might catch the live music.
Local tip
Pilgrims Book House closes at 21:00, so you have plenty of time to browse before dinner. Rum Doodle is open until 22:00 on Sundays, giving you a relaxed evening to end the night.
