Park where the road to Slevo splits to your right, near the bridge. Walk up the road toward Slevo. The peak of Kamniški Vrh is on your right hand side. Take your time to reach the top as the afternoon light begins to soften.

Stand at the peak and watch the golden light wash over the valley. The sun is setting toward the WSW, painting the landscape in warm tones. This is the perfect moment to breathe in the view before the light fades.

Begin your descent. You can continue past Planjava toward the small alp 'Osredek' and the Korošaški slapovi waterfalls on your way down. The walk back to the valley is about an hour, so start moving while there is still some daylight.
Local tip
Finding your way is not always easy, so bring a map with you. The hike from Slevo takes about an hour and a half, or two hours from the valley.
