Enter Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park as it opens at 08:00. Head straight to the central plaza to see the 121-meter Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue while the air is still cool and the site is quiet.

Walk 8 minutes SSE from the park entrance to the base of the statue. This is the best spot for photos and to appreciate the craftsmanship by Nyoman Nuarta before the sun gets high.
