Timeline

  1. 17:00

    Nasi Goreng Kambing Kebon Sirih

Grab lamb fried rice early. This street stall is a longtime local favourite for its complex spice scent, but it gets very packed, so arriving before the evening rush is key. It stays open until 23:00, so timing is flexible but early is better for the food quality.

  2. 17:30

    Arjuna Wijaya

Walk to Arjuna Wijaya. The statue of Arjuna and Krishna on their horse chariot sits southwest of the main monument. Arrive just before golden light begins to find a good angle for the evening sky.

  3. 18:15

    Arjuna Wijaya

Watch the sunset. The sun sets toward the WSW, casting long shadows over the statue created by Nyoman Nuarta. This is the perfect moment to take in the scene before the light fades completely.

  4. 19:00

    Kafe Pisa

End the night with Italian food and live music. Kafe Pisa is a longtime favourite for its pizzas and gelato, and it offers live music every night. It is open until 24:00, making it a relaxed spot to unwind after the sunset.

Local tip
