Grab a light bite or coffee at Rice House. It is open from 08:00 to 02:00, so you can easily stop here before the main event without rushing.

Enter Beylerbeyi Palace. The grounds are open until 16:00, but the exterior and immediate pavilions offer great space. Note that interior guided tours start every half-hour and the palace closes at 16:00, so you will be exploring the exterior and the Mermer Köşk area during your visit. Check the route for entry.

Head to the Mermer Köşk. This pavilion is located just 3 minutes from the main palace area. Position yourself here to watch the sun set toward the WSW. The marble structure frames the view perfectly as the golden light fades into sunset.
Local tip
The palace interior tours end at 16:00, so this plan focuses on the exterior grounds and the Mermer Köşk pavilion which are accessible for viewing the sunset. Rice House is a reliable spot for a pre-sunset snack.
