Stop at Dawn on the Amazon Cafe for a drink. It is right on the end of the boulevard with a beautiful view, making it the perfect spot to watch the sky change color. The food is excellent if you want a light snack, but the atmosphere is the main draw.

View on Belen, swamp and river
Walk 15 minutes SSW to View on Belen, swamp and river. This is your viewing spot. Arrive here to watch the sun sink toward the WSW over the swamp and river. The golden light starts around 17:25, giving you plenty of time to find a good angle.

Head to Le Bateau Ivre - Bistro for dinner. It is a French bistro located 9 minutes walk from the anchor. It is open until 00:00+ so you can stay as long as you like after the sun goes down.
Local tip
The walk from the cafe to the river view is short and scenic. If you want to stretch your legs before dinner, the area around the anchor is well-lit and busy.
