Innamincka Town Sunset Lookout
Walk 45 minutes from the station area to the Innamincka Town Sunset Lookout. The lookout is SW of the station, so head in that direction along the unpaved track. Arrive with time to spare.

Innamincka Town Sunset Lookout
Watch the sun sink toward the WSW. The golden light starts at 19:33, building to the final sunset at 20:07. The sky turns deep and quiet.

Return to the Innamincka Hotel to finish your evening. It is the one and only place to eat or drink in the entire region, so it is the natural end point.
Local tip
The walk to the lookout is on an unpaved track. Allow 45 minutes if you are starting from the station area. There is no other dining option in the region besides the Hotel.
