Walk to the Cooper Creek Crossing. Even if the river is not in the mood to be crossed, it is fun to walk down to the causeway and watch the pelicans scooping up fish coming out of the culverts.

Finish with a quick snack or energy drink at the Trading Post. If you have access to a kitchen or stove, they also have frozen prepared meals available.
