Timeline

  1. 09:00

    St. Moritz Church

Stand before St. Moritz Church. As the oldest building in Ingolstadt, dating back to 1234, it anchors the Old City Hall square. It is a quiet spot to begin your morning before the city fully wakes.

  2. 09:15

    Würstelstube

Walk four minutes to Würstelstube. Order the standard sausage from Marianne and look up at the epic picture of a monkey in traditional Bavarian costume eating Schweinebraten. This is a quick, authentic snack stop that is open from 09:00 to 18:00.

  3. 09:45

    Reduit Tilly and Klenzepark

Walk nine minutes ESE to Reduit Tilly and Klenzepark. This fortress core lies south of the inner city on the right side of the river Danube. It offers a peaceful open space to stretch your legs and enjoy the view away from the main square.
